Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon National Park is among North America's most visited natural wonders, attracting an average of 5 million visitors each year. Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel is located just one mile from the park's south entrance. The Grand Canyon is cut by the Colorado River and stretches 277 miles. It is roughly 1 mile deep and sits 7000 feet above sea level. If you're looking to backpack and hike, you can visit the Inner Canyon area. This hard-to-access area encompasses every activity below the rim, like hiking and rafting.
