Arizona Snowbowl

Skiing and snowboarding are popular winter sports in Flagstaff, Arizona. Situated on the San Francisco Peaks in the Coconino National Forest, Arizona Snowbowl ski area offers over 750 acres of groomed runs. With 32 trails and a vertical drop of 2,300 feet, there’s plenty of terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.

Arizona Snowbowl Ski and Ride School. Fun is the most critical component to learning how to ski or snowboard at Arizona Snowbowl. A variety of lesson packages are available for children and adults, ranging from first-timer basics to advanced skills development. Full- and half-day lesson programs are available for children ages four - 12 and include a lift ticket, rental equipment, instruction, and a progress report. Adults attempting to ski or snowboard for the first time can take advantage of a free two-hour lesson with the purchase of a lower mountain lift ticket and rental equipment.

Arizona Snowbowl’s Ski and Ride School is certified through the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors.

Sunset Terrain Park. Show off your freestyle skills in Arizona Snowbowl’s Sunset Terrain Park. Whether you’re a skier or a snowboarder, this terrain park offers thrilling obstacles, spines, rails, and hits. Sunset Terrain Park is located off of the Sunset Boulevard trail.
